Why I do what I do…

Because babies are the best and everyone deserves a family!

I love kids and being from a huge family babies are considered a gift and are celebrated.

There is truly nothing to compare what a baby can do in terms of love, belonging and loyalty for a family.

They are the core to my family gatherings.

My late-father was very sick with cancer for a long-time but there was nothing like a little Piechowski baby that brought more peace and joy to him!

There are 28 grandkids in our family.

It is my hope to bring a bit of that magic to you!

It is an honor and privilege to do the work that I do…this is a difficult journey. As a society we are starting later and it is tougher to get pregnant as we age.

I can’t guarantee anything besides that I am going to get your body in the best condition possible to conceive. It is like prepping the perfect garden, it takes work.

But I am driven to share the wisdom and knowledge of Chinese Medicine so you can have a family to call your own and earn that title of Mom.

Your First Visit

Plan on usually a 2-3 week waiting period for your first appointment due to my current patient load. (If you late cancel or no-show your first appointment I may not be able to reschedule and you will be billed.)

Fill out the patient intakes and bring them with you.

Plan about an 1-1.5 hours for the consult.

Everyone has a different history and story, I want to truly understand your situation and where you are at in your Fertility Journey.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you become a family.

Treatments and Consults

Primarily we use Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) including acupuncture, herbs, heat and dietary therapy.

(We are very adept at Western Medicine as well but due to licensing laws we can’t order labs, imaging and prescription medications directly. But we will advise you to your best course of action and in many cases serve as your advocate in working with your MD’s. Our goal is to get you the best care, no matter the modality.

Good Medicine is Good Medicine

All treatments begin with a proper diagnosis, which takes place during your first visit.

We spend a lot of time getting a complete picture of your health and lifestyle.

We examine the condition of your tongue (is it cracked, coated, excessively pink? etc.), and check your pulse (the quality of your pulse gives us information about possible body imbalances).

We’ll also ask questions about your emotional state and specific symptoms you are experiencing.

The first visit lasts about an hour or so.

Your subsequent acupunture sessions will be about 45 minutes long.

At follow-ups, we review your case progress and do a treatment.

If it’s warranted, we also prescribe an herbal formula. Herbs are nearly always prescribed in a balanced formula, where different herbs have supporting effects. Thousands of years of use and research have shown that this is far more effective than large doses of a single substance.

Typically acupuncture treatments are given weekly.

If the condition is acute and painful, treatments may be given 2-3x per week until the condition starts to come under control.

The exact duration of your treatment program depends on the condition and goals, your basic level of health, and how well you respond to the therapies.
